Do you ever get so full at times and all you can do is scrunch down with your knees bent, hands together beneath your stomach, eyes closed, and just scream out JESUS at the top of your lungs? Back in the day when I was younger, when grandma had nothing else to say, she would just scream Jesus. I would look at her like what is wrong with this woman and why is she hollering?
See grandma knew that at the name of Jesus, every knee had to bow. And now I understand. Things going on in my life warranted me to give up the fight and to say to heck with it. The enemy was trying to trick me into believing that I’m not worthy of anything beyond the stress I had been experiencing. But I learned that just by calling Jesus name, the giants in my life had nothing to do but fall.
Never allow what you going through in life to take you out of the presence of God. For it’s in his presence where you will find peace, joy, happiness, love, assurance, comfort, answers, and more. The first step is just simply to call his name, but after you call his name, have faith that he will deliver.

What ever career you choose in life, it should never feel like just a job. Do something you enjoy doing, something that is fulfilling. One good question I think can help you determine whether or not you have found your right place is to ask yourself, “Can I imagine doing this everyday for the rest of my life without receiving any type of monetary benefit?” Of course we all want to me make money, but be happy and proud of yourself while doing it.
God has given us all gifts. Find out what your gift is and use it. Never settle. Use your gift to keep excelling to the next level. And what ever obstacles that may come your way, never give up. Don’t be upset when someone turns you down or tell you no. A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her. ~David Brinkley

Summer time is here and BABY it is HoTt here in the south! I glanced at my weather app one day and it said 108. I thought maybe I needed to update the app because it had to be experiencing some technical difficulties. Needless to say, the app was correct. OMG!
With that being said, because of the heat wave we are experiencing, some young ladies feel the need to barely dress in the morning. It's ok to show some skin, but there's a classy way to this and still look like and be a LADY.

Every time you make a declaration, the devil makes a defense -PMJ
At the beginning of the year, many of us made a vow to either change something or had a mind set to get something accomplished. We had a goal to accomplish for 2012. Now that we are half way into 2012, many of us have encountered obstacle after obstacle after obstacle.
Once the enemy realized, wait, you have finally found your gift, or you have finally realized what to do to get to God’s promises, I need to reconfigure my game plan. It’s okay, you tried last year to start a business but couldn’t come up with the appropriate cash flow because you spent your money on the material things that gave you temporary satisfaction. You tried last year to be celibate, but all I had to do was tap into your weakness, give you few a drinks, put slow music on and catch you at that midnight hour. You tried last year to leave your ex in your past, but all I had to do was catch you at your most vulnerable moment when you start to feel lonely. You tried last year to finally get yourself together and do things the right way in a relationship, but all I had to was throw in a few hardships to make you and your significant other turn against each other. You tried last year to get a good job, but all I had to do was harden the hearts of a few interviewers and you became un-encouraged. So I’m not worried, I know your weaknesses. You won’t make it.
From dealing with family issues, job issues, career moves, to figuring out which of my friends are truly there for me and who isn’t and trying to maintain my spiritual walk, it has been a struggle. It’s funny, because everything I have gone through thus far, I heard God voice in the midst of it all, but I had to tune out of all of the negativity around me to hear him.
But the devil is a lie! What the devil don’t understand is that yes, you had me last year, but tricks are for kids. I am a more mature woman of God now. So the tricks you had last year, won’t work this time. You gotta come stronger, but know, no matter how strong you come, I know a God that is even stronger than anything you put in my way. Come hell or high water, we will make it. We can’t turn back to the way things were last year. Every obstacle placed in your way, build from it! Sometimes God will allow hell to breakthrough in your life to bring you closer to him and to your purpose.
While pastel colours are taking it's place in Spring trends, various prints are having it's bold say so as well. To some it may seem to clash or not well mix, however, that's the fun part in fashion I think! Of course you do not want to look tacky, but being creative with your wardrobe allows us to express our personality in a fun way. The unexpected print mix gives us a reason to wake up and only take less that 15 minutes to dress ourselves! Remember, fashion is whatever you make it. If you wear it boldly, be sure to have the right confidence to match.
Another Spring trend that has been blooming for 2012 is the mix of bold color prints. See below how to piece together floral, tribal, and animal print. Sounds crazy saying it right?
