1 Peter 3:3-4
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."
There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to dress in nice things. For most women, when we look good, we feel good. What most fail to realize is that it is not what you wore to the engagement dinner that people will remember most. I would rather a man indulge in the sincerity of my heart than delight himself in the outer cover up that is no different than the next and others can imitate.
Beauty starts on the inside and flows outward. Its like finding a very attractive young lady that has the worst attitude and evil spirit. Before dressing up the outside, try completing a makeover of the inside.
